More Trees Please:)

I love little 3 x 3 note cards. They're really fast to make and can be used for so many gifts when you just need a little something. My girls like when I put notes in their lunches. I have to admit I did it a lot more when they were smaller; but maybe now it is more of a surprise for them. The first week of school my older daughter put a note card  in her sister's lunchbox. I thought that was so sweet. The younger one really appreciated it and I noticed that she had put it in her smashbook.

Changing the subject for a minute. Wouldn't you have liked to have invented the smashbook. Seems to be the new flavor, especially for those who really don't want to scrapbook (which is my older daughter). She can slap stuff in there and jot a note. Easy, done. Both my kids really like them.

Anyway back to the cards. Sorry for the pic quality. I'm still trying to figure out the best lighting. I made 2 little note cards for lunches tomorrow. I went with colors that are favorites for each girl just to make them different and special for each:)  I chose to not cut the flowers out and instead used little Prima ones. They are the ones that came in the assorted colors in the cute little "milk" like bottle. I try to use them as much as possible, however, I think they grow overnight. It doesn't seem to make a dent. There has to be more in there than what meets the eye.

Here's the dets:

Base - 3 x 3 Georgia Pacific white paper (really reasonable at Walmart $5 for a ream)
Tree - Simply Charmed height 2.71 on gypsy
Stamp - My Pink Stamper More Punny-licious
Papers - all scraps
Fiskars Scallop Punch
Flowers - Prima
Stickles - Turquoise, Magenta
