King For A Day

Father's Day is almost here and I am hoping for a relaxing day for the men in my family. I created this cute little king for my hubby. In a house full of women any man would deserve to at least have one day where he can get a word in or relax with the remote without being interrupted:)

I created the title by cutting off the word "kingdom" and created "king". I popped up the king. If you decide to make this king I will warn you that I didn't think his layers went together quite as easily. This cart is pretty straightforward, so maybe it was me:) I had trouble with his robe (the purple paper) following the line on the green bird. If you have made him let me know what you did to line him up. It is quite possibly me and I certainly wouldn't discourage from making because he is so cute!

Recipe:
5 x 7 card base
Paper - Scraps
King - 3 Bird's On Parade 3.5"
Title - 3 Bird's On Parade 2.25"

There are a lot of fun challenges out there and am excited I have time to enter:)

Entering:
Die Cuttin Divas - Happy Father's Day
A Muse Studio - Father's Day
My Craft Spot - King of the Grill
Fantabulous Cricut -Father's Day
Creative Cutter Room- Father's Day
Celebrate the Occasion - Father's Day

I hope you have a wonderful weekend! Thanks for stopping by!

I have found a couple of the birds on this cart have that problem-where the layers do quite line up with the lines on the base. I think it is the cartridge, not you! Very cute card with the king bird-it would have to be "king of the remote" at my house :)

Adorable card! Great idea to turn kingdom into king! I've had trouble with a few images myself. I just couldn't get them to line up nicely. I think it turned out great though! Thanks for playing along with us at DCD!!
