Exploring Cricut - Mother's Day Blog Hop

Welcome to the Exploring Cricut Mother's Day  Blog Hop! If you hopped from Emily then you are in the right spot. If not, hop back to the beginning, Exploring Cricut, so you don't miss a thing. The list is below if you get lost along the way!  Our Design Team has some awesome projects for inspiration and at the end you will be able to enter the challenge to show us a Mother's Day project. Don't forget to use your Cricut for the challenge.  Hard to believe that Mother's Day is Sunday when we had snow here last week. Crazy weather.

I created a card for my Mom to share with you.  I used the Flower Shoppe to create this card and it came together in a snap.

I inked the edges of the mats in pink. I also ran a little bit of pink ink over the orange patterned paper to blend with the flowers. The flower that I used from the cartridge is the "mum". I rolled the yellow cardstock on a pencil to begin. Once it was completely rolled I adhered glue to the bottom. I then fanned the layers out by pulling the yellow edges out and pressing down to flatten a bit. The yellow Stickles in the middle is a nice sparkly touch:)

Recipe:
A2 cardbase
Scrap Papers
Flowers - Flower Shoppe
Sentiment - My Pink Stamper
Cuddlebug embossing folder, Yellow Stickles, black ink

So, I have some blog candy to giveaway as well. Normally, I tell you what I am giving away, but I thought I would keep it suspenseful and make it a surprise:)  So, how do you win? Make sure you are one of my  followers, leave a comment and live in the United States. Keepin' it simple:)

Love your bright and happy colors and flowers! (I am desperately missing sunshine after this insane weather week, so your card makes me happy-wasn't that snow just ridiculous? Amazingly my tulips have survived!) I hope you have a wonderful Mother's Day with your kids, Annette!
