Sketchy Friday #15

Hello Everyone! It's time for another Sketchy Friday and once again Sonia has inspired us with a great sketch to use. This time of year I am needing a lot of graduation cards and this kite is absolutely adorable.

I colored the kite on my Silhouette machine and added some Stickles as well. I think this would work for a boy or a girl.

Be sure to check out my DT sisters for all the great inspiration for the sketch. Hope you all decide to join in the fun!

Thanks for stopping by:)

It's time for a new sketch at Sketchy Friday and once again Sonia has an fantastic one for inspiration!

I chose this darling SKdigis fish. Isn't she happy and of course, she needed some sparkle. What would we do without Stickles?? I used a yellow and blue to give her some pizzazz. I used Silhouette Design Edition to color in my fishy and her bubbles.

Sketchy Friday #10 - This Bud's For You

Hello! Glad you stopped by as today is Sketchy Friday and a new sketch to play with. I'm so glad it is Friday as it has been busy, busy at our house. We are doing some DIY projects and getting ready for our new puppy. It was great to get into my craft room and play with Bo the Dragonfly.

I colored him with my Silhouette and of course used Stickles to give him that extra shine. Isn't he darling? You can get him over at the SKdigis Shop. The sentiment is also an SKdigis.

Here is the sketch for this week. Remember, you have until Thursday to enter your project and I hope you decide to join in the fun. Have a great weekend!!

Sketchy Friday Challenge #8

It's already Friday!! It has been crazy busy around here. My Mom had hernia surgery last Thursday and yesterday we were hit with a massive snow storm so no school yesterday or today:) I feel like I have been neglecting my blog and am so glad it is Sketchy Friday so that I can be creative.

I decided to create a bookmark and I completely fell in love with Gus holding the shamrock. Isn't he darling!

I used some heavy cardboard I had and adhered some fun patterned paper from My Mind's Eye - Lemon Twist. I really like that it is double sided.

The ribbon, from American Craft, was a great buy at Michael's and matched the patterned paper perfectly. I used Glossy Accents for his eyes and Firefly Stickles for his little antennas and underneath his feet.

The sentiment is an SKdigi that Sonia created. I colored Gus and the sentiment with Copic markers. I finished the bookmark off with some tulle.

Below is the sketch for you to be able to enter your creation. Remember, you don't have to use a SKdigi to enter the challenge. Hope to see your work too:)

Sketchy Friday Challenge #6

It's Sketchy Friday Challenge day and we are already to #6!! I decided to create a thank you card and used  home sweet home. Isn't this mushroom house sooo cute! I really had fun working on this one and of course, I enjoy the bright colors.

All of the coloring, except the grass was done with the Silhouette Cameo software. When choosing these colors I was definitely in the spring mode and thinking of little fairies and leprechauns:) Hope you decide to join in the fun and don't forget to check out my DT sisters for more wonderful inspiration!

Sketchy Friday #2

Hi Everyone! Happy Friday! Today is Sketchy Friday Challenge #2 at SKdigis. I love working with sketches; just takes all the guess work out. You can use any image of your choice as long as you follow the sketch. Be sure to check out all the details at SFC as well as all my design sisters' creations. They are awesome!

Here is the sketch for this week. I decided to use this sweet piggy (Piggy Holding Lips).

I used pop dots to give her some dimension. I also used some embroidery floss for the tail; just tying some loose knots to give it a little more character.

The edges of both circles  and floral rectangle were inked in black. I used my Silhouette to color/shade the image and then cut out with my machine. The patterns for the lips and hooves were made using the machine too. This machine makes this so much easier. I'm still getting the hang of it, but really enjoying what it can do.

Recipe:
A2 card base
Heart and Floral Paper - K & Co.
Green glitter circle - DCWV Paper
Pig With Lips - SKdigi
Sentiment - My Creative Time
Floss, Ribbon, black ink, corner rounder

I'm so glad you stopped by and hope that you decide to join in the fun. Have a great weekend:)
